PeeWee LL wins against Teeswater in first game of finals
The PeeWee LL team is up against Teeswater in the finals for playoffs. The first game Minto came out on top 4-2
It was a fast paced game with the puck going back and forth many times. The teams seemed to be evenly matched, making our Minto team have to work hard. The first goal came in the first period by Tanner Pridham assisted by Dexter Schoutsen. The score remained the same until the end of the second period with less than a minute left Tanner Pridham put in another one assisted by Timmy Lopes and Matt Beier. Teeswater would put in a goal 5 minutes into the third period making it 2-1. Minto then had to play hard to keep the score the same until Tanner Pridham yet again put one in for Minto assisted by Cole Manser. The last minute of the game would see Teeswater score again and then an empty net goal by Matt Beier. Final score Minto 4 Teeswater 2. And yet another great game by our AP goalie Ben Riley! Ben made some amazing saves keeping the Minto team in the game.
Game 2 goes Tuesday March 24th in Teeswater at 8:00pm. Good luck Mad Dogs!!
