Minto Pee Wee LL Go 7-0 in Playoffs
The unstoppable Pee Wee's played a great game Monday night, beating Goderich 5-0 in their first shut-out of the season.  The team's goalie, Matthew Langridge, who has just began playing hockey this season, made some amazing saves during the game.  Langridge achieved his first shut-out on March the 9th, helping to guide the team to their seventh straight win in the playoffs.  The team's captain, Tanner Pridham, scored twice throughout the game.  The first assisted by Spencer Wylie and Mike McHarg, the other in the second period unassisted.  Brody Schiestel furthered the teams lead, scoring the third goal of the game, receiving a pass from Matty Beier, who kept the streak going, scoring next.  Beier's goal, assisted by forward Zack Vanderkolk and defence Cole Manser, was followed by three penalties, two for Minto and one for Goderich.  The final goal of the game, scored by McHarg was assisted by Pridham and Beier, assured the teams victory and continued their winning streak in the playoffs.  Defense, Cole Manser, Spencer Wylie, Hayden Burgess and Dexter Schoutsen, all played a great game Monday, with 3 assists between the 4, and many goals deflected.  The defensemen have been confident during their games, helping to not only defend the net, but also guide and support Langridge throughout the season.  The whole team has contributed to the Pee Wee's getting to where they are including strong offensive play by Mark Rowley, Russell Dennison, Chayse Foerter and Timmy Lopes.  The Pee Wee's have had an amazing playoff series, and the team hopes to further their achievements, and win it all!  Good luck in your game Friday the 13th!  GO MAD DOGS!
