Minto Novice LL defeated by Mildmay
Minto faced the # 1 team Mildmay this morning and came out on the short side. Mildmay 7, Minto 1.
Minto held Mildmay to two goals until the end of the first period. Bailey Sinclair making some good saves to keep the score within reach. But Minto had trouble handling Mildmay's aggressive style of play and allowed 4 more in the second period. In the third period, Minto showed some drive to go to the net with more offensive play which resulted in Minto's only goal of the game. Drew Bell was able to get a breakaway chance and scored unassisted. The third period looked better for Minto and they were able to hold Mildmay to one more goal to end the game at 7-1.
