Minto wins the third game of the playoff round!
Minto played Durham in Harriston and came out with a win. The game became a nail biter of agame.
Minto came out strong in the first period with two goals and limiting Durham's chances of scoring. In the second period, Minto looked a little sluggish as Durham started to forcheck with strength and scored three goals to go ahead for the first time this game. With 9 minutes left in the third period Minto scored the tying goal to make 3-3. Twenty seconds later Durham scored the go ahead goal right off the face off. It was clear that Minto would have to work hard to win this game. Two minutes later Minto tied it up again 4-4. Now it was looking like the game would end in a tie but with 28 seconds left in the third period Minto scored the win the game 5-4. Great game Minto Novice LL.
