Novice LL win two more playoff games
On Wednesday March 4th, the Novice LL team played Listowel in Palmerston. It ended with Minto on top with a score of 3-2. Minto travelled to Hanover on Saturday morning for their second game against them in the playoff round. Minto once again won another tight game. 1-0.
Minto played a sluggish game against Listowel on Wednesday but were able to pull off another win. Parker Miller scored 3 goals with assists going to Laura Sloan Turnball and Drew Bell.
Minto seemed to pick it up against Hanover on Saturday which was a good thing as this game was close with attempts to score from both teams. Minto limited Hanovers shots and Bailey Sinclair played solid in net stopping many potential goals to keep Minto on top. Ryan Helmka scored for Minto with assists going to Brooke Drost and Drew Bell. Next game will be played on Monday, March 9th in Palmerston against Mildmay.
