The peewee reps added four more points to the regular season standings this past week.
On Sunday November 18, 2012 the Minto PeeWee Rep team hosted the Saugeen Shores Storm. After a slow 1st period things seemed to open up for Minto in the 2nd and 3rd periods. The Mad Dogs displayed some great passing and play making skills to finish the game with a 12-0 win.
Morgan Troyer turned away any goal attempts on Minto’s net.
Despite the lopsided score the Mad Dogs but on a great display of teamwork and puck control.

On Monday November 19, 2012 the Goderich Sailors travelled to Palmerston to meet the Mad Dogs.
The 1st period saw a lot of back and forth play between the two teams. Despite the effort shown by both teams the game remained scoreless until five minutes into the 2nd period when Cody Camm lifted one past the goalie. Camm’s goal was assisted by Parker Miller and Greg Young. A minute later Brett Zabel added another goal for Minto assisted by Lucas Oxford and Ben Lawrence. Minto showed great determination and control in penalty killing efforts.
Going into the 3rd period with a 2-0 lead the Mad Dogs weren’t about to ease up. They kept the pressure on and kept control of the puck for most of the period. Minto added the final goal of the game on a power play. Scoring this unassisted goal was Brett Zabel.
Trevor Scott, in net for Minto, stopped any Goderich scoring attempts.
