Peewee Reps gain four points
The Peewee reps win two more regular season games and reclaim top spot in league standings.

PeeWee Reps Upset Listowel

On Sunday November 4, 2012 the Mad Dogs traveled to Listowel to meet the Cyclones.
Minto’s Parker Miller started the scoring off in the 1st period assisted by Cody Camm.
Despite strong play by Listowel’s goalie, Minto managed to put the puck between the pipes twice in the 2nd period. Minto goals going to Reid Lobsinger assisted by Miller and then Brett Zabel assisted by Miller and Camm. Not letting up in the 3rd period Minto scored two more goals to give them a 5 - 0 win over Listowel. Scoring for Minto was Tanner Loos unassisted and Parker Miller assisted by Brodie Hoffele. Morgan Troyer played a solid game in net for the Mad Dogs.


PeeWee Reps Host Walkerton Capitals

Monday November 5th the Walkerton Capitals came to Harriston to meet the Mad Dogs.
During the 1st period Minto struggled to keep control of the puck. Walkerton lit up the score board with the loan goal of the first period.
The Mad Dogs gained a bit of momentum in the 2nd period scoring three goals. Scoring on a power play was Minto’s Reid Lobsinger assisted by Ben Lawrence and Brett Zabel. The other scorers for the 2nd period were Tyson Koopman assisted by Cody Camm. Brodie Hoffele added another assisted by Brett Zabel and Logan Wanless. Walkerton managed to sneak in a short-handed goal narrowing Minto’s lead to one goal.
The Mad Dogs came out in the 3rd determined to regain puck possession and passing game. Their efforts didn’t go unnoticed as 3 more goals found their way into the Walkerton net. Scoring for Minto in the 3rd period were Lucas Oxford assisted by Drew Bell, Brett Zabel assisted by Parker Miller and Tyson Koopman assisted by Camm & Wanless. Trevor Scott played a strong game in net for the Dogs. Final Score of the game 6 – 2 in Minto’s favour. 


If you want to catch these boys in action, come out to cheer them on at the Bill Batten Tournament in Exeter & Huron Park this weekend. Their 1st game of the Tournament is Friday November 9th against the North Middlesex Junior Stars at 7:40pm in the Stephen Twp Arena in Huron Park. Good Luck Mad Dogs!!
