The PeeWee Reps spent the Oct 26-28th weekend in
Meaford. After 5 great games of hockey
the Mad Dogs were declared the Champions.
Friday afternoon the Mad Dogs met the North Middlesex Stars and came out on top with a 3 – 0 win.

Saturday’s 1st game was against Walkerton Capitals. The team played a strong game and finished ahead of Walkerton 8 – 3.

Saturday’s 2nd game had Minto facing the Stayner Cyclones. Once again Minto battled hard and finished with a 4 – 1 lead over Stayner.

Heading back to Meaford on Sunday to play Georgian Shores in the semi-finals the Mad Dogs were pumped. The team played a great game giving them a 4 – 0 win over the Georgian Shores squad. This win put the Mad Dogs into the finals.

Minto met the Walkerton Capitals in the final game. The Mad Dogs were in the hunt for the Championship. The boys played a game of controlled passing and real teamwork. At the final buzzer Minto was ahead Walkerton 8 – 0. The Championship was theirs!! Congratulations to Brett Zabel for picking up the player of the game award.

Minto’s two Net-Minders, Trevor Scott & Morgan Troyer played fantastic throughout the entire tournament; only allowing 4 goals to be scored during the whole tournament. Awesome job guys!
The Team played with determination for the entire tournament and should be very proud of themselves.
