During the 1st period Mitchell lit up the score board first.  Not to be out done Minto rallied back and scored their first goal of the game. Scoring for Minto was Lucas Oxford, assisted by Brodie Hoffele & Brett Zabel.

Despite a face paced, hard played period filled with many shots on net, the 2nd period remained scoreless.

Going into the 3rd period even at one a piece Minto was determined not to leave things in a tie. On a push into Mitchell’s end Minto’s Brett Zabel lifted one past the goalie with assists going to Logan Wanless & Tanner Loos.  Three minutes later Mitchell struck back to tie things up.  Both teams being kept scoreless for the remainder of the game left the game in a 2-2 tie.

Morgan Troyer played a great game in net for Minto.
