Pee Wee Reps beat Drayton Defenders 7 -3
Wednesday November 30th, the Mad Dogs travelled to Drayton.
For the first period, the game remained scoreless even though Minto dominated the play. Drayton came to life in the 2nd period and scored 2 quick goals. This spurred the Mad Dogs into action. Minto’s Brett Zabel scored the starter with an assist from Brodie Hoffele & Greg Young. Kaleb Irvin added the 2nd goal, assisted by Brett Zabel & Josh Langridge. Zabel then scored his 2nd of the night assisted by Luke Oxford & Reid Lobsinger. Drayton then rallied and scored their 3rd goal. The Mad Dogs weren’t finished yet. Minto continued pressing Drayton hard in the 3rd period. Hoffele notched his 2nd goal of the game unassisted. Tyler Quigley added to the count by scoring with an assist from Cody Camm. Zabel scored his 3rd goal of the night on an assist from Ben Riley & Hoffele giving Zabel a hat trick for the night. Minto’s Trevor Scott made great saves to keep the Mad Dogs in the game. Final score 7-3 Minto. Way to go Mad Dogs!!
