Atom LL # 2 takes down Durham and Drayton!
Minto hosted Durham on Monday November 15th in the Palmerston arena and skated away with an 11 to 4 win. In the midst of a lengthy home stand the Minto crew is making the most of it by racking up their 6th win in a row while taking down Drayton 10 to 4 on Saturday the 20th in Harriston. Minto Atom LL # 2 has now run their win streak to 6 games and undefeated streak to 7 games. Minto #2 team will face off against the other Minto LL team tonight in battle of the undefeated teams.  

    Hitting the score sheet in the Durham win was Boston Will and Alex Mock 2 goals and 2 assists each, Will Dennison has 2 goals and 1 assist, with a goal and assist were Andrew Mallett, Travis Mclean, Tyler Canning and Brooke Drost. Connor Rowley finished out the goals for game with 1, others hitting the game sheet were Greg young with 2 assists and Manomi Kitasawa with an assist. Failing to hit the score sheet was Nicky Aasman and Payton Noble but it not for lack of effort it's more of a luck thing, this is one of the hardest working teams that never quits regardless of the score! 

    Next up was the Drayton game that started as a very close match with only a single goal in the first period by William Dennison unassisted. The Second period was a different thing though as both teams piled up 9 goals between them, hitting the board for Minto was Greg Young from Connor Rowley, Alex Mock from Travis Mclean, Tyler Canning from Brooke Drost, Drost from Dennison and Mclean from Mock ending the period 6 to 4 in favor of Minto. In the 3rd Minto kept it comming by lighting the lamp 4 more times. Dennison from Payton Noble, Young from Rowley, Dennison from Mock and Drost then Dennison rounded out the scoring from Rowley and Andrew Mallett. Trevor Dillon and Hunter Mcdonald split the duties in net as they do every game, both have played extremely well to date
