Novice Rep, 2009-2010 (Minto Minor Hockey Association)

This year's season ended with a fun weekend and a win at Baltimore, Ontario's Cross Border Clash tournament from March 26-28th. Minto played teams from Brighton, Peterborough, Bancroft and Lakefield to end up with the E Championship win.

During a rollercoaster series with Seaforth that saw the Minto team battle against a tough opponent as well as some questionable officiating in Seaforth, Minto went into Game #4 down 2 games to 1 and wanting to force a game #5 against Seaforth.

Game #3 of the Hodges Division championship round between Minto and Seaforth was played on Sunday, March 21st  in Seaforth.

Minto's Novice Rep team started the final series with Seaforth on Monday, March 15th at the Seaforth arena and returning to Palmerston for game #2 on Friday, March 19th.

After losing to Durham the night before, Minto's team had to regroup and get themselves ready for the battle that will take place in Durham Tuesday night. It wasn't too far into the first period and Minto found themselves down 2-0 and feeling the pressure that Durham was here to win. This was going to take everyone's best effort on the ice to get things going in the Durham end. By the end of the first period Minto had done some work and managed to get on the scoreboard and go ahead of Durham 3-2. You could feel that Minto had found their groove and the battle began.
