Minto traveled to Durham on Feb 2. for game three of the series and won 3-0.
Minto came out strong and were determined to get the win. The first goal came in the second period when Cody Camm would fire a bullet from the blue line and into the net. Just a minute later Lucas Oxford would pick up a rebound from Parker Miller after a great forecheck by Brett Zabel.
With 3 minutes left in the third, Lucas Oxford would add an insurance goal assisted by Ryan Litt and Parker Miller. Minto's strong defence would shut down would-be goals all game and Trevor Scott would get the shutout stopping all 9 shots on net. Great job defence as they had a very strong series.
Minto now moves into the quarterfinals for the OMHA and will play the winner of the Shelburne Wolves and the Beeton Stingers.
