Not a pretty night at the Harriston Arena
The Maddogs go down to defeat!
Well it was a tough night all around. We not only lost the game 11-4 but we had a few injuries to go with it. The game started on a great note with Keaton Ross scoring with assists going to Josh Hoffele and Curtis Shorey. Mildmay came back with 2 goals to lead after the 1st period 2-1. Mildmay added a 3rd goal but Cam Ellis scored after a great pass from Josh Hoffele to make it 3-2. The very next shift Mildmay struck again though to go up 4-2. They added a 5th goal but with 5 seconds left in the 2nd, Greg Allen scored from Cam Charlebois to make it 5-3. The team went into the dressing room on a high note. The 3rd period proved to be their undoing though because Mildmay outscored them 6-1 to make the final 11-4. Derrick Riff scored the lone marker for Minto with the assist going to Todd Reiner. Coach Schleuter told the boys to show up for a tough practice on Friday nite. Our next game is on Sunday In Milverton.
