Bantam Reps Win WOAA "C" Title
The Bantam Reps defeated Durham 1-0 in game 6 of the 5 game series. After each team won 2 games they met in Durham Sunday for the 5th and deciding game, but after 10 minutes of overtime the score would remain 1-1 and it would go to a game 6 to decide the outcome.
Game 6 went Monday night in Harriston in front of a good size crowd. The boys played very solid throughout keeping Durham off their game and did not allow them many quality chances. They then took advantage on their only power play of the night when Denver Hill banged in a rebound assisted by Ryan Binkle and Derrick Riff. Although they had some good chances they couldn't increase their lead but when the final buzzer went the one single goal would hold up for a 1-0 win. Cole Wardlaw played strong and earned the win and the shutout in net.
This win gives the Bantam Reps the WOAA "C" Title and the boys now move on to play Shelburne in the OMHA Playoff Quarter Finals.
