Bantam Reps Finish Regular Season
The Bantam Rep's finished their 2008-09 Regular season with a 10-8-1 record.
Which head coach Dan Hill feels is very respectable especially when you consider the boys went 0-5 to start the season. That means they went 10-3-1 after those first 5 games which is excellent. The boys now realize that a good team will beat good individual players every time and they need to play as a team to be successful. From the goaltending out the team has improved immensely and throughout the year the scoring has spread out to make the team strong from our 12 regular players to our 7 APS which we have been using as much as possible. We are looking forward to the WOAA play downs as we have played pretty well agianst "C" level and higher teams. Our weakness came against some lower level teams who proved to be very worthy adversaries. This same group of kids won the WOAA title two years ago in Pee Wee and feel they have a good chance of repeating if they continue to work hard and can stay healthy.
