Playoffs not so kind to Atom Rep's
The Atom Rep's started their playoffs against Seaforth on Monday
night in Harriston. The Stars from Seaforth played like they were a bunch of stars this night, they came to play taking the first game in the series by a 6 to 0 score. The Mad dogs play well but couldn't get one past the Seaforth goalie.
Wednesday night the Dogs travelled back to Seaforth for game 2 and came out flat footed and were down a goal only 9 seconds into the game, The Dogs then battled back to tie the game at one at 7:40 on a goal by Austin Camm from Regan Cook then only to go back down a goal only 26 seconds later. The Dogs tied the game back up at 2 on a goal by Blair Butchart from Derek Williams, Seaforth scored again at the 0:00 mark of the second period after the buzzer had gone but it was ruled a goal as it could not be heard over the cheering. After a valliant effort and a fourth goal the Dogs come home down 2 games. It was a well played game for the Dogs and deserved a better fate. Game 3 is set for Seaforth Saturday at 2:00 PM.
