Atom Rep's play whale of game.
The Atom Rep Mad Dogs played a whale of a game agianst BCH on Monday
night at the Palmerston arena. So far this year we have not seen the team come so jacked up to play a game as they were on Monday night, the game was back and forth with a lot of speed and the goalies Huber from BCH and Donkersgoed thwarted everything that came their way. BCH opened up the scoring at 2:41 of the 2nd period only to have Eric Small tie the game 4 minutes later unassisted. the scored stayed tied till Derek Williams potted the tie breaker from Avery McIsaac and Eric Small at 7:22 of the 3rd peiod. From there on it was a flurry of action as both teams battled hard for the next goal, Eric Small added to his great night as he scored into the empty net to finish with a 3 to 1 score.
On Sunday Dec 28th the team traveled to Wingham and in another hard fought game only to see them lose 3 to 2, Minto had played a perfect game only to have Wingham score 2 goals in a 30 second span in the 3rd to take the win. Scoring for the Dogs were Jeff Mock From Small and Blair Butchart and Butchart from Austin Camm. Great couple games team, if we could only play Wingham and BCH every night it would be awesome!!!!!
