Atom Rep's win in snow country
The Atom Rep Mad Dogs travelled to Clinton to play BCH on
Saturday. This game saw end to end action with stellar goaltending from Tyler Reiner and an offense that made the most of it's chances, The first period was back and forth but mostly the teams were feeling each other out, the period saw Minto break the goose egg on gaol by Jeff Mock unassisted. The game stayed tied until Greg Becker picked off an errant BCH pass and turn fired at the net and beat the goalie for a 2 goal lead, 2 minutes later Derek Williams on a lovely rush up the ice scored to make 3 - 0 assist went to Mock. With 3 minutes left in the game BCH pulled their goalie and finally got one past Reiner, still with their goalie on the bench BCH pressed had but the Mad Dog "D" would not crumble, then with 19 seconds left Eric Small put the game out of reach with an empty netter. Very well played game by the whole Atom Rep team.
