What a nail biter!
The Atom LL played their best to date, on Sat Nov 15th against Zurich..
Minto took control in the first 3 minutes of the game with Curtis Erb scoring unassisted. A short minute later Zurich came back with a goal of their own. It was an action packed game going back and forth for the rest of the first period. Scoring for Minto in the second period was Tyler Quigley, assisted by Josh Langridge. Again Zurich came back with another goal minutes after. The third period Minto moved ahead with Austin Richardson scoring, assisted by Colin Brown and Mark Dolson. Once again Zurich came back with another goal, tieing the game for the third time. With less than 3 minutes left Ben Riley scored, assisted by Spensor White to give Minto a 4-3 win. Ryan Grandy was solid in goal, with a great defense team in front of him. Way to go Maddogs!!
