A great weekend of hockey!
The Atom LL team played two games this weekend, winning both.
On Saturday Feb 7th we travelled to Listowel for our first game. Althought there was no scoring in the first period, Minto let loose during the second with 5 goals. Three more were scored in the third giving Minto the win 8-0. Scoring for Minto was Josh Langridge (3), Mark Dolson (2),Colin Brown (2), and Curtis Erb(1). Assists were given to Ryan Grandy(1), Austin Richardson (4), Curtis Erb (2), Deanna Vaughan (1), and Spensor White (1). Earning the shut out was Ben Riley.
On Suanday Feb 8th we teamed up against Brussels with another win, 3-1. Again our first period we saw no scoring but lots of action. Opening goal was during the second period by Spensor White with the assist going to Monica Rankin. Also scoring was Josh Langridge and Riley Stanley with assists going to Spensor White and Ben Riley. Ryan Grandy was superb in goal, with a few tricky saves.
