Two weekends of Hockey!!
On Friday Dec 5th the Maddogs played Elma Logan winning 7-0. Lucus Oxford leading the night with a hat trick(3 goals), followed by Alex Mock with 2 goals and both Cody Camm and Brodie Hoffele added one a piece. Trevor Scott posted another shutout for the maddogs.
On Saturday Dec 6th Minto hosted their tournament in Harriston. An early morning game proved to be a good match for the Minto as the Maddogs pulled off a 2-1 win over Mildmay. Hoffele and Camm each scored a goal.
The second game was against the Drayton Defenders with Minto coming out strong with 7-2 win. Scoring was lead b y Cody Camm (2 goals) followed by a goal a pice from Tanner Loos, Brodie Hoffele, Tyler Canning, Alex Mock and Reid Lobsinger.
The "A" side finals seen Minto face off against Lambton Shores. Three games for Minto proved to be too much for the maddogs as they came up short with a 5-1 loss. A great tournament was hosted by Minto and many thanks to the Camm's for organizing a great tournament and all the other parents that helped make it a successful.
Minto held an exhibition game against Walkerton Capitals on Friday night however they were outplayed and found themselves with a 8-0 loss. On Saturday however the Maddogs redeamed themselves with a 11-0 win over Zurich. Brodie Hoffele lead the scoring with 6 goals, followed by Brett Zabel with 2 goals. Lucus Oxford, Kaleb Soloman and Alex Mock also each notching in a goal a piece.
