DOUG PERKES MEMORIAL TOURNAMENT - SEAFORTH Submitted By Craig Metzger on Sunday, February 11, 2018 The "C" Championship game saw the Minto Mad Dogs match up against the Lucknow Sepoys. Neither team was able to score in the first period and it was almost five minutes into the second before a goal was potted by the Mad Dogs. Minto added a power play goal late in the second to go up 2-0. Although the third period was hard fought, neither team would score and the Minto Mad Dogs claimed the "C" Championship with the 2-0 win. Congratulations to Minto and Lucknow on a well-played game.

"C" Semi Finals Submitted By Craig Metzger on Saturday, February 10, 2018 There's close games and then there's what happened in the second "C" semi-final game between Minto and South Huron. This was a classic goaltender's duel that saw over 30 minutes of scoreless play (well over two periods). As the game wore on both teams amped up the offence and traded glorious scoring chances throughout the third without success - until with less than 5 minutes to go Minto managed to "break the goose egg." That lone goal would stand up as Minto won 1-0 and will move on to join Lucknow in the "C" ...
