Minto losses in Seaforth 4-3
The Minto Atom Rep team went to Seaforth and came out with a 4-3 loss.
The Maddogs came out strong in the first with Brett Zabel scoring the 1st goal only 30 seconds into the game from a "sneak through the crack" pass from Reid Lobsinger and Lucus Oxford. Blair Butchart (unassisted) then tucked away another goal and put the Maddogs up 2-0 only 30 seconds after that. Seaforth then fought back to make it 2-1, and then Butchart put another goal passed their goalie to put the Maddogs up 3-1. From then on it each team was given many penalities with Seaforth capitilizing on two of them and Minto having a goal waved off. Minto generated some great opportunities as the players started shooting the puck more often. The Atom Rep team played a great game and held their heads high as they came out of the dressing room! Our next game is Monday night in Palmerston at 7:30 v.s. BCH. Go Maddogs Go!
