Your Peewee Rep Maddogs have advanced to the Semis vs Sturgeon Lake Thunder Game 1 Sat Mar 2 3:30 Harriston

The Peewee Rep started their Journey to the Semis with convincing wins over the Blyth-Brussels Crusaders defeating them in three games.

Blyth had a very strong regular season finishing 10-5-1 but couldn't keep up with our constant pressure and multiple scoring threats.
Next up was South Bruce who played us extremely tough all year. South Bruce also eliminated our Atom, Bantam, and Midget teams this year from OMHA Playdowns.
First game showed our nerves down 4-0 in the first five minutes and 4-1 to end the first we roared back to win 8-5. Game two we got the lead in the first South Bruce tied it early in the second only for us to regain the lead 30 seconds later and then take the lead for good 4 mins after that with Taran making the Lead Stand up in a eventual 5-3 win.
Game 3 was a penalty filled affair with 26 mins for us and 18 for South Bruce. The game was scoreless until Ethan M scored on a powerplay with 1:45 left in the first and with strong penalty killing we only gave up one PP goal and scored two shorthanded goals. In addition we scored 5 power play goals. With great contributions from everyone we won 9-2 and eliminated South Bruce. The scores didn't do this series justice it was a battle.

On to the Stayner Cyclones who tried but couldn't match our speed and relentless attack. Smart Hockey, Great passing, Backchecking, Great goaltending, Great Defence and superb Team play led to Wins of 8-0, 7-2 and 8-2

Our Next Opponent is the Sturgeon Lake Thunder
