Body Checking Clinic (ONLY 2 Spots Remaining)
Submitted By rcherrey on Wednesday, August 31, 2011
Minto Minto Hockey will be hosting a Body Checking Clinic in September and October for the pee wee and bantam aged players. The body checking clinic will consist of 4 one hour ice sessions and will be instructed by Jamie Israel. The cost of the clinic will be $80.00 per player and will have a limit of 30 players.

During the clinic, the players will be taught how to properly deliver a body check, and also how to receive a body check. Body checking is part of the game, and it is important the players be instructed how to separate player from puck in a safe effective technique. As well, Jamie emphasizes the respect factor to our players, and how to develop the skill of body checking while understanding the safety factors.
