Clarification of OHF Body Checking Motion
Submitted By rcherrey on Wed 05 18, 11
May 16, 2011 Richmond Hill, ON: The OHF Minor Council endorsed the following motion: Effective the 2011 - 2012 season body checking will be removed from all age divisions of House League and House League Select hockey. The OMHA wishes to clarify that the OHF ruling does not affect Local League hockey within the OMHA. The ruling applies to House League and Rostered Select only and will not impact current regulations for Local League. Local League programs can continue as in the past, and the decision to include body checking in Local League programming remains that of the local membership of your association.
