Bantam Reps play their best game of the year.
Tuesday night in Harriston, the Bantam Reps defeated the Wingham Bantams 6-2. It was a complete team effort from the goalie out to the forwards.
Less than a minute into the game, Tristen Small scored with assists going to Derrick Riff and Keaton Ross. Then 3 minutes later Todd Reiner scored his 1st of 2 goals on the night, assists to Riff and Small. Wingham scored at the 4 minute mark to make the score 2-1 at the end of the 1st. 5 minutes into the 2nd, Reiner got his 2nd of the nite with the assist to Greg Allen. Riff scored with 6 minutes left in the period to make it 4-1. Small and Reiner had the assists. The 3rd period started just as strong for the MadDogs as Ross scored with the assist going to Cole Leslie. Josh Hoffele finished the scoring for the MadDogs,with assists to Allen and Todd Donkersgoed. Wingham scored a late goal but it was all MadDogs. Nick MacDougall had a strong game in net and the line of Riff, Small and Reiner led the offence with 4 goals. The boys have almost a week off now. Their next action is on Monday against the Drayton Bantams.
