PeeWee Local League play in White Championship
against Elma-Logan. Our first match up was on Sunday March 21st in Monkton.
After having a week off our team just couldn't get it together. We left with a disappointing lost of 5-0. Our second match on Monday March 22 was our time. Elma-Logan scored first but Minto came back in less than a minute to tie the game. Goal by Dexter Schoutsen and assisting going to Russell Dennison and Jeff Mock. During the second period Minto again dominated scoring 3 more time. Goals went to Jeff Mock, Brody Schiestal and Austin Richardson. Assists going to Arden Mercy(2), Regan Cook, and Chase Foerter. Minto was in the lead at the end of the second period 4-2. Elma-Logan came out blazing and never looked back, scoring 4 times in the third for a final score of 6-4. Elma-Logan played a great game and deserved the W.O.A.A Pee Wee LL White Championship for the Central-SOuth Division. Congratulations go the the Minto team for getting to the White Championship finals. This team turned things around in the last half of the season and worked hard. From your parents and coaches thanks for another great year of hockey!
