Pee Wee Local League hosted their tournament
on Saturday January 16\2010 at the Harriston Arena.
Minto played the first game against Walkerton with a 2-0 win. For the first period was play was back and forth with no scoring. During the second period, Riley Stanley scored with assists from Jeff Mock and Mackenzie Pridham. More action and no scoring until late in the third when Mintos Kyle Gristley scored, assisted by Chase Foerter and Spensor White. Matt Langridge was strong in goal and Minto when advanced on the "A" side.
Our next game put us up against Mount Forest, unfortunately Mount Forest wanted it more than we did, winning 7-0. Ryan Grandy worked hard, stopping many shots in goal.
Winning the "B" championshop was Twin Centre.
Winning the "A" championship was Thornton.
