Minto in Round Robin Series

Minto travelled to Wingham on Sunday to play the Ironmen.
The Ironmen came out strong when they went up 4-0 in the first unanswered. However Minto would not lay down as Blair Butchart put us on the scoreboard with 2:26 left. The second period was a different game as Minto worked hard and made it 4-3 as Butchart scoring again from a pass from Cody Camm and then Brodie Hoffele with a beauty goal from Butchart. The third period saw Minto tie the game (Butchart from Brett Zabel) but only for a few minutes as Wingham scored to put them up 5-4. Zabel then scored from Lucus Oxford to tie us again. Wingham then scored two powerplay goals which put them up 7-5. Cody Camm would put one by their goalie but we still came up short 7-6. Minto is in a round robin series against Seaforth, Ripley and Wingham. Our next home game is Monday Feb 15 at 7:30 against Ripley. Hope to see you there.
