Clifford Tournment November 8th
The Bantam Rep's came into Clifford having played well enough to keep games close but not good enough to win.
In game one against Thamesford the boys came out strong but penalty troubles had them heading to the third tied 2 -2. Minto tried desperately to get that first win and late in the third they were rewarded when Denver Hill picked up a lose puck and pick the top corner for the eventual game winner.
Game two was against a team out on London and the boys again dominated early but an unlucky bouncing dump in had them down 1 - 0. The boys persisted and eventually tied it up when Devin Williams tipped home a Ryan Diniz blast from the point. Even though Minto carried the play they could only manage a 1 - 1 Tie heading into the third period. Although they were short staffed with the Ap's having their own game the boys played good enough for a win but just couldn't finish around the net. Late in the frame London took advantage of a turnover and scored a heart breaking goal which became the eventual game winner.
