Thanks again for participating in our Minto JR Development/Mite Tournament! We hope you and your team will have an awesome time! The Mite portion will run Saturday March 2 with each team playing 3 games.
Mite Tournament Guidelines
- Teams are expected to have one coach on the ice helping direct and encourage the skaters during play.
- There will be a 2 minute warm-up period @ the start of every game.
- Games will consist of one 39 minute period. The buzzer will go every three minutes to signal changes.
- Teams will shake hands @ the end of each game.
- Face offs only occur after the buzzer. After a goal is scored, the ref will toss the puck down the ice and play will continue. If the goalie traps the puck it will be tossed into the corner and play will continue.
- The ice will be flooded after every second game.
- All equipment must be removed from the dressing rooms immediately following your game. Equipment can be stored in the auditorium between games.
