Omha Playoffs
The Bantams are now well into OMHA Playoffs

I will try to keep this short Hunter
The Boys are well on their way in Playoffs with a Record of 8-1
They Started with a literal and figurative Battle with Blyth Brussels which they advanced with three convincing wins with the team showing poise and refusing to be drawn into Blyths style of play. Instead they played their own fast skating skill never quit style of play. Winning by scores of 6-0 8-4 and 7-1.

Next up was South Bruce who proved to be a lot tougher. The Boys won the first Game 4-0 with some very timely saves by Odog the goalie  Second game they fell behind early and where down 3-0 near the end of the 2nd but Els keeping his feet moving all game drew a penalty shot and made no doubt about it faking a shot and sliding it around the South Bruce Tender who bit on the fake. The boys came out flying and tied the game at 4 but South Bruce wouldn't quit and scored the winner shortly after we had tied it. The  Boys learned two things this game which is they have to play all three periods and they have the fortitude and ability to come back. Next Game they won 6-4 setting up the clincher in Harriston which the boys played awesome with the battle going back and forth with neither team giving up. Needing the extra period and no one wanting to go back to South Bruce the boys dug in and pressured south bruce peppering their goalie with shots and forcing a draw to the left of the Goalie. We won the draw back to Mason L who had a perfect hard low shot to the goalies right pad who kicked it out right to Els who went hard to the net and buried the rebound.

Now another tough team in West Grey who we had only played once in Elmvale losing 3-1 This game was awesome with each team trading chances with great saves by each goalie we ended up tied at the end of the third. With Els taking the puck around the net and both Steve and Jaxon going to the net Steve got his stick on the puck and with it sitting at the goalies feet Jaxon Calmly drew it back and roofed it over the goalie who had went down to prevent the low shot being jammed in. It was nice seeing Jaxon get it as he has been Snakebit of late.
Wow what a game Hopefully the boys can come back Sunday with the same complete team effort they had Saturday. Every night it has been a different contributor but everyone has made a mark this postseason whether they hit the scoresheet or not. The boys scored 45 goals  and only gave up 20 goals in 9 games with Owen having 3 shutouts
