Tale of Three Seasons
It has been the best of times and it has been the worst of times during this Tumultuous hockey Season as far as our win loss record has been. Now hopefully back to best of times as our playoffs start. Win or lose I am still proud of the Boys and how they carry themselves Before during and after games.

We started the Season on fire riding a very Hot Jaxon W who was at a different speed and level than most of our opponents. Combined with Jaxons scoring sound defence good Goaltending and strong support from everyone on the team we opened at 9 wins vs only one loss. Than we learned the hard way how we need our whole team in order to be successful. Missing Clark to holidays and Cody to injury we struggled to a 7 win one tie record. The Players showed their mettle though battling some tough teams and never giving up. While the total of the losses looked bad there was some really hard fought games, the boys playing some excellent hockey. They showed real character and toughness during this stretch by not pointing fingers and working hard to right the ship as a team.

We regained some lost confidence in the Clinton Optimist tournament losing a very close game to Lucknow 2-1 than proceeding to beat Parkhill 6-3 followed by winning convincingly vs. East Lambton 7-1 to be the B final Champions.

The Bantam Rep Mad Dogs than closed out our Season going 7-3 which included a very respectable 2-1 record in Silverstick. Winning the first two games by wide margin and coming up a little short in the third game despite battling some tough penalties and a tough crowd. The  Boys showed tremendous poise by never giving up and  playing Hockey the right way. Their full effort right  to the buzzer resulted in a late goal and I hope some pride in themselves and their teammates for the way they carried themselves.

They ended the Season with a very respectable 17-12-1 playing mostly vs. B and CC centres. The Boys are in the process of becoming young men and on the Basis of not only the past few Months but the past years they are well on their way to becoming Fine Young Gentlemen. I wish them the best in their upcoming Playoffs but more importantly wish them the best in all their future endeavors.

Now for the Third Season
Good Luck Boys Go Maddogs
