Mad Dogs Vs. Drayton
The Mad Dogs travelled to Drayton on November 5th to face the Drayton Black team.
Unfortunately Drayton came out strong in the first period causing a disaster for the Mad Dogs with a 3-0 lead after only 3 minutes of play. The Mad Dogs suddenly came alive and managed to hold the tough Drayton team off for the rest of the period.
Going in the second Drayton's powerful offence pushed through the lines again to score another goal 2 minute into the second. The Mad Dogs determined to not go down without a fight managed to fight there way across the Drayton blue line. Liberty Thalan assisted by Keegan Sitt managed to tip the puck past the Drayton goal tender to bring the score 4-1. Drayton would manage to score another goal with only a minute and a half left in the second period but it was quickly answered back by a goal by Isaiah Steeves assisted by Hayden McIntosh leaving the Mad Dogs trailing by 5-2 going into the third.
Going into the third period Drayton kept the pressure coming with two quick goals. Fighting all the way to the end the Mad Dogs did manage to find the back of the Drayton net one more time with a goal by Hayden McIntosh with 4 minutes left in the third period. The Mad Dogs would manage to hold off the Drayton Defenders for the rest of the game and take with a 7-3 lose. A battle well fought!
