Hard Working Pee Wee – Braydon Brooking
Braydon Brooking was recently awarded the Hard Working Pee Wee Helmet by his teammates. Braydon plays defence for the Mad Dogs and with it a key role on the blue line in penalty killing and powerplay. Braydon is the tallest of the defencemen and is known for his excellent shot ability, whether clearing the puck during a penalty kill or getting that high wrister into the net from the blue line. Braydon’s goal objective at the start of the season was to obtain 3 goals. Thanks to his Bauer Vapour, Braydon achieved this goal in the first couple of weeks in the season and had to reset his goal objective. Brady … you easily achieved your revised goal objective well before Christmas.
The Mad Dogs have enjoyed a terrific season with Braydon playing a key role in their success. No matter who the Mad Dogs were facing , Braydon was always ready to defend against the opposing teams game plan. Using his stick and sometimes his skates to keep pucks in at the blue line or moving the pucks away from in front of the Mad Dog goaltenders to waiting wingers, Braydon could be counted on to get the job done.
Braydon also has one of the hardest shots in the Pee Wee WOAA loop …. just ask a few opposing palyers who were brave enough to try to block his shots from the blueline
Braydon is a big Toronto Maple Leaf fan and like a few other Mad Dog players has picked the Leafs to win the Stanley Cup this year !
