Atom Reps Reach Semi-Finals in Simcoe
Congratualtions to the Atom reps for reaching the semi-finals in the Simcoe tournament over the weekend.
Game 1 on Friday night versus Tavistock ended in a tie. In order to advance the boys had to secure some points in Saturday's games. Game 2 on Saturday was against Norwich, the boys played well and came away with a win. Game 3 was Saturday afternoon versus Six Nations. The Mad Dogs came out strong and went into the third with a 4-2 lead. Six Nations came back in the third, but the Mad Dogs were able to hold them off and came away with a 5-4 win. Two wins and a tie put the boys in the semi-finals on Sunday. The semi-final game would not go Minto's way, in the end losing out to Mitchell. Thanks to Riley Martin for making the trip to Simcoe Friday night and again Sunday morning. Good effort, thanks to all of the players and coaches for a great weekend of hockey.
