Novice Rep's Win B Championship
The Minto Novice Rep's traveled to Arran-Elderslie on Saturday January 18 to compete in a round robin style tournament. They faced off against BCH AE in their first game and came away with a 2-1 win. Player of the game was Owen Schneider.
In their second game the Novice's came up against Silver stick champs TCDMHA, in a hard fought battle the boys had many chances hitting posts and a cross bar but couldn't find the back of the net. The final score was 3-0 for TCDMHA. Player of the game was goalie Triston Fredrich.
With enough points to move onto the B Championship the boys had a 20 minute break and were back on the ice to face off against the home team Arran-Elderslie. From the opening faceoff it was clear they had come to win this game. Minto controlled the play for most of the game and the final score was 5-0 for Minto. Player of the game was Brayden Harrow.
