Minto moves onto the next round of the WOAA
The Minto Atom Reps have advanced to the next round of competition by beating the Seaforth Stars in 3 games
The 2nd place "B" division Seaforth Stars played Minto in a 3 games series that saw a dominant Minto squad keep their opponents scoreless in the first 2 games while netting 13 goals. In the 3rd game, Minto made some mistakes that Seaforth capitalized on but were able to pull out the 7-5 win. Minto is on a 7 game winning streak including a 5-0 shutout win over the "B" division 1st place Brussels Bulls.
Minto's focus now is the International Silverstick in Forest this weekend. The Mad Dogs take their road record of 18-0-2 and represent the area against other regional Silverstick winners from across the country.
