Captain Tori Grice - Bantam LL Receives Award
Submitted By Sondra Scott on Mon 03 07, 16
Recently, the Captain for the Minto Bantam Local League team was the recipient of an award.  During the season, the team was able to achieve a penalty free game.  Coach Pat Bender submitted the team to Hockey Canada for the achievement.  The team was not selected for an award, however Tori Grice, the Team's Captain was. As part of the submission, one player could be nominated for showing the values of the penalty free sweepstakes - skills, safety and sportsmanship.  Tori was selected by the Coach and was selected by Hockey Canada as an award winner.  Tori received an MVP trophy, MacDonalds Great Taste Card and 4 tickets to the Hockey Hall of Fame. Congratulations Tori. Well deserved award.
