About This Tournament
Harriston was the venue for the PeeWee LL tournament on Sat January 16th.
First game was Minto vs. Walkerton. Both teams were evenly matched in the first period with no scoring. In the second period Minto was on the board with a goal by Riley Stanely, assisted by Jeff Mock & Mackenzie Pridham. Again it was an even match till late in the third period when Minto scored again. Scoring for Minto was Kyle Gristley, assisted by Chase Foerter and Spensor White. Minto played strong and defeated Walkerton 2-0. Matt Langridge was solid in goal. Minto claimed the first win of the tournament.
We were then up againt Mt Forest, unfortunately Mt Forest wnated it more than we did, winning 7-0. Ryan Grandy worked hard in goal, stopping many shots.
Winning the "B" championship was Twin Centre.
Winning the "A" championship was Thornton.
