Saturday Nov. 28 Zurich comes to town
Minto came to play Saturday morning, intent on showing Zurich they where just as good. Zurich handed Minto their only loss of the season so far. Minto came out skating hard with everyone chipping at both ends of the ice. Alex Mock opened the scoring in the first period on a nice pass from Owen Day. Midway thur the second period Payton Noble showed tons of determination, with strong play behind the net forced her way out front and put one home unassisted. To put Minto up 2-0. But Zurich showed they were not done just yet and answer back at the end of the period.
With the game so close both teams kept firing on the goaltenders. Bailey Sinclair was outstanding robbing Zurich time after time to hold onto the lead and the win.
Final score 2-1 Minto.
