Midget Rep Team Down 2-0 to Wingham
The Midget Rep team has lost two hard fought games in the WOAA finals.
In game 1 Minto managed to tie the game up very late in the third to force overtime. Unfortunately Wingham was able to capitalize on a scramble in front of the Minto net early in Overtime.
In game 2 Minto came out strong in the first period but struggled to find the mesh and Wingham took advantage in the 2nd to take a 5-2 lead. Minto dominated in the 3rd getting within one before Wingham scored an empty net goal to finish the game off. The boys are going to have play like they did in the 3rd if they want to come back from this 2 game deficit.
Next game is Monday, Feb. 2 at 9:00pm in the Harriston Arena.
