BANTAM REP wins Georgian Shores Fall Classic
Bantam Rep team wins Georgian Shores Fall Classic Tournament in Thornbury the weekend of October 23rd, 2015.
The Bantam Rep team had an awesome weekend of hockey at the Georgian Shores Fall Classic. Winning the 1st game against Schomberg 6-1 was a great way to open up the tournament and the team was confident with the win. However, we all knew this Minto team had more to give than they had given in that game.
Second game on Saturday at 11:45 was against Aaran-Elderslie. Minto was not sure what to expect and came out strong. This was a stronger game from Minto who took the win of 3-0.
Third game was Sunday against Georgian Shores, Georgian Shores was fast and aggressive, however the Minto team took the win for game 3 with a score of 3-2.
The Final game of the tournament would then be between the Minto team and the Schomberg team - apparently Schomberg was short players when Minto won the game against them on Friday.
Final game ending the tournament with a 6-1 victory for Minto.
The Minto team won every game of the tournament and dominated play every game and it showed in the scores and wins. This team plays an awesome team game. Points where spread across everyone on the team. This team is a pleasure to watch.
