Atom LL #2 - Three More Wins For Atom LL #2
Three days, Three Games and Three Wins for Atom LL # takes them to 7 - 1 on the season.
On Dec 3, 2011, the Mad Dogs rolled into Drayton for the second time in a week. The first contest saw Minto walk out with a 4-0 win. Drayton wouldn't let that happen this time. They where determined to make sure they found the back of the net. Both goalies stood on there head and kept the players wondering how to get one by, keeping the score at 0-0 through 2 periods. In the 3rd, the scoring opened up and went bck and forth early in the period. At the end of the game the Mad Dogs would walk away with another win 4-2. Scoring all 4 Minto Goals was Connor Forrester. Assists went to Connor Rowley (2), Bailey Drost (1).
On to Mount Forest on December 4, 2011, where the Mad Dogs would get to see a bigger ice surface and more room to move. Both teams came out strong and aggressive. A full team effort by Minto would see them get another notch in the win column winning 5-2. Scoring for Minto where Connor Forrester (2), Connor Rowley (1), Rylynn Sinclair (2). Assists went to Connor F (1), Connor R (1), Rylynn (1), Chloe Kaye (1) and Tori Grice (1).
Finally Game 3 in 3 days, saw the Mad Dogs welcome Ayton into the Dog House in Palmerston. Ayton could not hold Minto back with the Mad Dogs winning 8-0. All of the players played very strong, making heads up passes and giving the coaches lots of hustle. Strong goaltending by Tyler McLean gave him his 3rd shut out of the year. Scoring for Minto where Connor Forrester (3), Rylynn Sinclair (2), Garret Scheeringa (2), Connor Rowley (1), Assists went to Josh McKay (4), Connor Rowley (2), Garret Scheeringa (1), Rylynn Sinclair (1)Tori Grice (1), Peyton McBeth (1) and Tyler McLean (1).
